There are so many things beyond my power to have much of an effect on

There are so many things beyond my power to have much of an effect on. Something too heavy, too far out of reach, and not in my wheelhouse. Or someone I see needing help that's beyond me, skill sets my husband excelled at, but are not mine!

I sure miss how gifted he was to fix, build, repair or resolve a problem!

And now when life throws a curve ball, and it's only me wondering what to do, I realize I've walked into an Ephesians 3:20 moment!

First is to pray! Ask God for wisdom ( James 1), acknowledge Him (Proverbs 3:5-7) and cast the problem onto Him (1Peter 5:7)

Then read aloud Ephesians 3:20 "Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us--- to him be glory..."

One translation says "exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think".

I may not have the answers for how it will get done how that need will be met or how this issue will be resolved! But I know that He knows! And He knew I would encounter this today on this date!

And I will thank Him and give Him the glory.

Because of the Cross, because He is my Lord and Savior, He has already done so much more than I could ever ask or think.
